This project is a complete event experience platform designed to help users find events, help businesses manage performance, and help administrators oversee activity in one place. This page is designed as a capstone marketing demo for possible users of the app.

How and Why to Use the App

For Eventgoers

Simply visit our home page to learn more or create an account. After joining Do You Wanna Go and logging in for the first time, users will be asked to fill out their profile to create the best possible experience. Then, you are ready to go! Sign up for and bookmark any interesting events in the area and connect with other users.

For Businesses

For businesses, select the business account type when signing up and add all of your information so users can learn more and lookout for events. Once the profile is setup, begin listing your events for users to sign up for and watch your business thrive like never before!

For Admins

Monitor platform activity, review event and user management tools, and use analytics to support decisions across the system.

Use the tabs below to show the three sides of your app. Each card includes a spot for a screenshot and a short explanation of what the screen does.

Calendar View

Event goers can browse local events, mark themselves as "Going," or save events for later. They can also see which of their connections are attending the same events.

My Events

Event goers can view all of their upcoming, past, saved, and suggested events in one convenient place, making it easy to stay organized and never miss an event they are excited about.

Event goers can grow their network by sending and managing connection requests, as well as discovering new friends through suggested users based on shared event preferences

Calendar View

Businesses use the calendar to track event dates, availability, and scheduling at a glance. Business can view their monthly event calendar, create new events, and alter existing ones.

Event Management

Businesses can create, update, and monitor the status of events. Users can create and update event descriptions to reflect changes. Events are moved to the approved list once verified by the admin. They also have access to archived events.

The platform automatically monitors valuable statistics like top performing events, popular event categories, and event sign-ups.
